400 Batu Ampar Residents Who Have Been Vaccinated Receive Rice Package

After being vaccinated, 400 residents received rice packages at SDN Batu Ampar 13 Pagi, Batu Ampar, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, Tuesday (8/10).

This service will be held until August 17

This vaccination activity was held through collaboration between urban village, SDN Batu Ampar 13, and Polda Metro Jaya for Drug Research Directorate from today until August 17, 2021.

Batu Ampar Urban Village Head, Achmad Ruslan stated, because the location is next to Balekambang Urban Village on Jl. Raya Condet, this vaccination service is not only provided for Batu Ampar residents, but also for Balekambang residents with total quota of 400 vaccines per day.

"This service will be held until August 17. We provide 400 vaccines every day. After being vaccinated, residents will receive 5-kg rice from Polda Metro Jaya," he explained.

In supporting this activity, Polda Metro Jaya deployed 3 health workers, as well as 10 administrative staffs from Polda Metro Jaya and RPTRA administrators.

"We also deploy 25 joint personnel to ensure vaccination activity to run well," he added.

According to him, there are 5 vaccination service centers in the region which located at SDN Batu Ampar 13, SDN Batu Ampar 01, SDN Batu Ampar 02, Madrasah Al Ikhsan and Batu Ampar Urban Village Health Center. Previously, vaccination service was held at SMPN 126 through collaboration with Kodam Jaya.

"We provide shuttle service for residents who want to go to vaccination location using motorcycles and cars. Shuttle service is carried out by PPSU, TP PKK cadres, dasawisma, Jumantik, and Posyandu. Thus residents who don't have vehicles can still go to vaccination location," he mentioned.

Iwan (47), RT 01/04 Batu Ampar resident admitted that he didn't know that after being vaccinated at SDN Batu Ampar 13 he would get rice. He only knew that after being vaccinated and taking vaccination card, PPSU officer would direct him to rice counter.

"Thank God, we can receive rice assistance. It is really helpful for us during PPKM period," he conveyed.
